Antibes Dresser Unveiled

Can you see this in a beach cottage? I sure can!

Yes, there is a drawer missing. It needs a bit more repair and sanding. And, yes I am too impatient to wait!

Earlier this week I shared the “in progress” tulip popular, five-drawer dresser. It is completed now and ready to be unveiled.

This tulip poplar wood top has a lovely grain and is protected by Minwax.

This tulip poplar wood dresser frame was painted in ASCP Antibes green and the top and five drawers were stained using Minwax Jacobean Stain and Finish. The painted sections were finished using CeCe Caldwell’s Aging Cream.

I like the original shield-shaped, cast metal drawer pulls in an aged bronze color so they were simply cleaned, waxed and put back on. I like how they blend in with the wood tones too.

The dimensions of this piece are 41 1/2″ H X 24 1/2 W X 14″ D.

I added some pretty wrapping paper in a vintage blue and green flower pattern to brighten up the drawer insides. The lime green in the paper is a perfect match.

Drawer insides are pretty, clean and refreshed and lined with wrapping paper.

A quick peek at the dresser “before.”

This dresser would be suitable for a bedroom, an entryway, bathroom or any room where extra storage is needed. This piece is listed for sale on my Facebook page at
