It’s a Winter Wonderland

We are pretty much snowed-in in SW Michigan. Lots of snow falling more on the ground and travel advisories keeping us off of the roadways. We cancelled our weekend plans to go to the Mother’s Trust monastery for the program, service and vegetarian potluck.

I cooked our favorite Whole Wheat with blueberry pancakes for breakfast and made the leftover turkey into turkey, rice and vegetable soup for dinner.

Instead today I’ll share some snowy images of a beautiful beach about 16 miles from our home. Then maybe I’ll strap on the snowshoes later on for a walk through the woods.

Three scenes of Lake Michigan in the winter time.

While our county is poor, we certainly do live in an area that is wealthy with natural beauty.
